A Biking trip to the northern islands
Shortly after we got here there was an assembly at the public gym.
At the dock waiting for the ship with the sand, rock, and block for the Kingdom Hall.
Naomi and the sisters who help in the kitchen.
Kito and Perlina
 A little girls party…
That is a small party for the “don’t call us little!” girls.
 This is David…
he is so eager to help… and he’s not winking, he’s missing an eye.
David also loves to skip school so he can try to help us!
In the first three months we had to set up our homes.
Naomi and I are in a second story that was an empty mess when we first arrived. 16 other people are housed here in the barracks we built. It took about a month and has 8 rooms and 4 bathrooms. Oh and there was and abandoned house here that we had to tear down first before we could build.
We also built a gym in the garage of the brother’s house who lives next to the barracks.
This is the site of the old Kingdom Hall and Missionary home that we tore down. And now you can see the foundation of the new Hall and Home.

Across the street from the site we also had to construct a Shop and Office where we can make and store stuff..
The beautiful site bathroom…. No seriously, it’s beautiful compared to the out house at the last project.

So after the earthquake in Japan the Marshall islandswere in the tsunami path… (I know what tsunami?)
Ebeye is only 3 feet above sea level and most of the houses are made of plywood and tin, very 3rdworld.
I was monitoring the TV news and the internet for news until the warning expired at 2am… Sam and Tyrone were sleeping on the floor of our room.
